Just about Mum's birthday again for another year. Wow, 65! As usual, I'm tearing about attempting to find useful and original presents for someone who hasn't left her house since Xmas. Bird table, nail varnish, choc, book, lipstick. That sort of thing. She's coming round on Saturday for a BBQ, so lots of food is needed. I think Pete will be coming too and I'll ask Jane. Sian's got a BBQ with someone else but she wont leave till about 5.30, so that will be nice for nanny to see the girls together.
Just come back from Cornwall and had a good time. Everyone was there and we had a party on Tuesday for Mick's 50th, and ours and Ali & Pete's 25th anniversaries. Wow, again. Where has 25 years gone? It's been really busy for the last 18 or so, but I'm so glad that we had a few years together before the onslaught of little feet!
