I can't believe that it's the end of July already and we've not had a single good day for the start of the holidays. In terms of weather that is. Anna's been to the swimming pool about 4 times already and yesterday she made a batch of cakes while Pat was out working. she's disappeared into her room now, so I'm girding my loins for the visualisation that will be "made up Anna" soon. I'm working at home and it's been a frustrating day. My clear average has been up at about 14 calls a day which I've been pleased with, but I feel that I'm a bit burnt out and need a holiday so looking forward to going down to Cornwall to see everyone. There will be 19 of us down there, so look out Mullion! I think this will be the last time we all get together for a proper holiday as the kids are all getting older and want to do their own thing, but we're all taking our wetsuits down there and hopefully the surf will keep them occupied. Visiting Andy and Kath on the way home and maybe even father!

Left footed driving
Very pleased to tell you that I'm well and truly into my new car and am getting on with the left footed driving. Had a few near misses as my left foot did think that the left peddle was the clutch a few times, so we went shooting off in reverse a couple of times!
Apart from that, things are good. Sian went to NASS festival of extreme skateboarding etc. Poor thing, it rained really heavily for the couple of days she was there. Had a good time driving to Shepton Mallet to get her. It was very good practice for me.
Kids have broken up from school now and Anna's so relieved, although immediately bored. Mind you, we're going down to Mullion soon to stay with and see the cousins, along with the Aged Ps, so I'm really looking forward to that.
Managed to get my old yahoo 360 linked to this blog too, so geeky! Glad. I've been jotting down the old notes since 2005, which I think is pretty good. It's not always been good stuff, but it's good to remember things that have happened and dates. I'm rubbish at dates.
Anyway, back to support. It's quiet in the office today, apart from support that is!

My new Car
I've had a really nice chap come to my work in Warsash and change my car so that it's got duel accelerators fitted. Left and right so that I can use the left one, but if "normal" people want to drive it, they can use the right one. How brilliant! It nearly didn't happen as the order didn't include it as the dealer was too busy thinking about his dodgy holiday in Florida's Mickey Mouse world or some such horrendous place.
But, now it's happened and I need to practise driving it. I think I'll be driving home with the right leg and then going to Hengistbury Head to practise with my left leg. Watch out, dog walkers!

My Car

Well, after getting my new car, I've had to sell the Honda and amazingly, I'm quite sad about it. It's been a brilliant car and I've done 146,000 miles in it, and I reckon it's still got life in it yet if the new chap looks after it...He looked a bit kangarooey when he drove off in it though!
here's the beast anyway. good luck to all who drive in him..
